The JTPayne Family
Jeffrey T. "Skip" Payne has been a family businessman and entrepreneur for over 40 years. Along with his wife (Alison), four boys (Tyler, Troy, Jase, and Jacob), and their families, they manage a portfolio of companies that continue the legacy created by Skip's father, John W. Payne.

John Payne founded Icare Industries, Inc. in 1968. Skip went on to run the business with his brother when their father passed away in 2001. Skip grew the business tremendously over 20 years and ultimately retired from Icare in 2023, passing on the leadership to his son Tyler and two nephews.

​The family is now working together through multiple business ventures to continue the legacy into the next generation, joining their passions for boating, building, and home improvement with their decades of business experience.
